This case study highlights how strategic marketing can drive immediate results. A comedy show in Paris was having difficulty selling tickets for an upcoming performance. The comedy club struggled to sell tickets for these celebrity comedians because they were part of Don’t Tell Comedy, a brand built on the mystery of keeping each comedian a secret until the day of the show. While in Paris for the Olympics, she saw an opportunity to assist. Leveraging her marketing expertise, she launched a targeted campaign—and by that evening, the show was completely sold out.
The same comedy club later hired her to assist with promoting another celebrity comedian. She devised a strategy to place advertisements with QR codes around the arrondissement where Emily in Paris is filmed, knowing it would attract English-speaking tourists—an ideal audience for an English-language comedy club.
During her time at Hearst as a Marketing & Brand Strategist, Tahira had several success stories with clients. From smaller to larger companies. She credits the company to helping her gain her marketing skill.
